Pengaruh Technostress terhadap Employee Well-Being melalui Work-Life Balance sebagai Variabel Mediasi pada Pekerja Remote Generasi Z

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh technostress terhadap employee well being melalui work-life balance sebagai variabel mediasi pada pekerja remote Generasi Z. Perkembangan teknologi digital yang pesat mendorong meningkatnya praktik kerja jarak jauh, namun di sisi lain juga memunculkan tekanan psikologis berupa technostress yang berpotensi memengaruhi kesejahteraan karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik purposive sampling terhadap 45 responden yang merupakan pekerja remote Generasi Z. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan metode Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dengan bantuan SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa technostress berpengaruh signifikan terhadap work-life balance, namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara langsung terhadap employee well being. Sementara itu, work-life balance terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee well being. Selain itu, work-life balance juga berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang signifikan dalam hubungan antara technostress dan employee well being. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa dampak technostress terhadap kesejahteraan karyawan terjadi secara tidak langsung melalui kemampuan individu dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara pekerjaan dan kehidupan pribadi. Oleh karena itu, organisasi perlu mengelola technostress serta mendukung terciptanya work-life balance guna meningkatkan employee well being pada pekerja remote Generasi Z.
