Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana kekuatan persaingan dalam suatu industri membentuk keputusan organisasi untuk mempertahankan atau meningkatkan posisi kompetitifnya. Dengan mengacu pada tinjauan pustaka yang sistematis, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi kerangka kerja lima kekuatan sebagai lensa analitis untuk memahami struktur industri. Intensitas persaingan, ancaman masuknya pesaing baru, daya tawar pemasok, daya tawar pembeli, dan ancaman substitusi secara kolektif menentukan profitabilitas industri dan membatasi perilaku perusahaan. Keputusan yang efektif merespons kekuatan paling kritis dalam industri tertentu dan beradaptasi dengan pergeseran struktural seiring waktu. Koordinasi antara fungsi intelijen kompetitif dan perencanaan memastikan bahwa temuan analitis diterjemahkan menjadi tindakan konkret. Komitmen kepemimpinan, kolaborasi lintas fungsi, dan sistem pemantauan berkelanjutan memungkinkan organisasi mendeteksi perubahan struktural dan merevisi posisi mereka sesuai dengan itu. Kerangka kerja ini memerlukan adaptasi terhadap karakteristik industri, tahap siklus hidup, dan evolusi teknologi. Teknologi digital memfasilitasi pemantauan real-time dan simulasi skenario, meningkatkan akurasi analitis. Penilaian sumber daya internal melengkapi analisis industri eksternal, memastikan keselarasan antara tuntutan lingkungan dan kemampuan organisasi. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada teori persaingan dengan menekankan ketergantungan antar-kekuatan dan evolusi dinamis. Panduan praktis membahas mekanisme integrasi, disiplin analitis, dan proses pengambilan keputusan. Penelitian di masa depan dapat mengeksplorasi adaptasi spesifik industri dan dampak transformasi digital terhadap penentu kekuatan di berbagai sektor.
